Prior to this performance by Bianca I had contacted Bianca's Dad asking if he would consider Bianca
for a role in the forthcoming Joplin The Movie,
Bianca starring as a young Janis Joplin. As word had got out the buzz on YouTube at that time
was that because Bianca sang 'Piece of my Heart,' I received many e-mails saying that I had ruined
Bianca's chance at winning America's Got Talent because she chose to sing a Janis Joplin song,
even Piers Morgan said she may have blown her shot at the title, but I knew regardless of what Bianca
chose to sing that she would win the title, no question in my book, and she did win.
Once in a lifetime a Star comes along and Bianca is a Star, and absolutely perfect for the role
as a young undiscovered Janis Joplin.
